Man City is making waves


Manchester City came to us for a thumb-stopping way to kick off the 2024/25 season. The mixed reality master, @gabrielbenicio, created two unforgettable pieces of content for the men’s and women’s team: one video featured the Man City Women’s iconic team bus soaring into the sky, while another starred special guest Coach Pep Guardiola in the heart of Times Square.

The team bus video not only kicked off the season but also celebrated the debut of Man City Women’s new social channels. Despite being their first post on Instagram and TikTok, the video garnered nearly 7 million views in just a week, with an impressive 13% engagement rate on TikTok.




Building on the success of the first video, Manchester City and their partner Xylem took over Times Square with a message from Pep Guardiola urging viewers to contribute to water conservation. We blended the physical and digital worlds with an eye-catching billboard that ran in the heart of Times Square, later enhancing it with CGI elements to create an even more captivating visual experience. The video amassed over 5 million organic views and achieved a staggering 14% engagement rate on TikTok.

The success of these videos is not only a testament to Man City’s loyal fanbase but also the impact of mixed reality content in grabbing attention and generating excitement.
