ONE PIECE BREAKS REALITY

The seas of the world just got a little stranger.

To launch Season 2 of One Piece on March 10th, Netflix called on SuperHeroes and JIMMY to turn one of the series’ most outrageous locations–Reverse Mountain–into a real-world spectacle. The goal? Make viewers stop, stare, and question gravity itself.

Reverse Mountain, Reimagined
The scene starts on a city street that feels totally normal… until it doesn’t. Water floods the street, but instead of rushing down, it flows upward, twisting reality into something unrecognizable. The camera pans, revealing a skyscraper transformed into a vertical river.

Riding this impossible current is the Going Merry, sailing up the building as Monkey D. Luffy stretches his arms to grab the rooftop, holding the ship in place.

Crafting the Impossible

Brazil-based VFX and mixed reality artist Gabriel Benicio made the impossible believable. With unmatched skills in water physics, he helped create a scene that feels hyper-realistic, bringing the wild logic of One Piece into our world.

Expanding the World of One Piece

The video quickly gained traction across social media, generating over 1.2M views and 87.4K engagements, all organically.

More than just a teaser, the video drops a slice of the One Piece universe into reality. It flips expectations, bends the rules, and leaves viewers with one thought: this story is bigger than the screen.
