To drum up excitement for Netflix's fresh take on "Avatar: The Last Airbender," JIMMY, our Digital Street Art Studio, along with the super talented artist @ShutterAuthority, worked their magic and gave everyone's favorite flying bison, Appa, a taste of the real world. Known for his penchant for snoozing, we decided to showcase this endearing trait in real-world scenarios, capturing the attention of fans and igniting conversations across the internet.
In our first release, we caught Appa catching some Z's right in the middle of a San Francisco highway. It was a hit, racking up a whopping 54 million TikTok views in just under a week, with fans engaging at a rate of 23%.
Next up, we caught Appa mid-wake-up on a New York bodega rooftop. Our secret sauce? Appa's fluffy fur cascading down over passing traffic, adding that extra dash of realism and sparking chatter about allergy season.
